Zambian Ambassador Albert Muchanga Presents Credentials to Ethiopian President

Yesterday, His Excellency Mr. Albert Muchanga, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Taye Atske Selassie, President of Ethiopia, at the Presidential Palace in Addis Ababa.

The presentation formally marked Ambassador Muchanga’s accreditation as Zambia’s official representative to Ethiopia. Following the ceremony, he addressed the Diplomatic Staff and Locally Engaged Staff at the Zambian Embassy in Addis Ababa, signaling the official start of his tenure.

Ambassador Muchanga reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations with Ethiopia. He highlighted the importance of collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, and regional diplomacy, emphasizing shared interests and opportunities for mutual growth.

The ambassador’s appointment is expected to strengthen diplomatic ties and enhance cooperation between the two nations, reinforcing Zambia’s role in regional initiatives and fostering closer engagement within the African continent.
