Yesterday, State House welcomed a high-level delegation of investors from First Quantum Minerals, led by CEO Tristan Pascall, alongside representatives from Bank of America, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and Morgan Stanley. The visit reflects their confidence in Zambia and commitment to ongoing investments in the country.

President Hakainde Hichilema said the discussions focused on expanding opportunities across multiple sectors, including Energy, Mining, Agriculture, Tourism, Water, Logistics, Technology, and Digital Services. He noted that Zambia’s stable political environment, predictable policies, and improved business conditions continue to attract global attention.

The President emphasized that Africa is not a single investment market but a continent of diverse nations with unique opportunities. Zambia offers distinct prospects that investors can explore with confidence, he said, highlighting the country’s efforts to create a conducive investment environment.
