President Hakainde Hichilema attended the launch of “The Essence of Success,” authored by Dr. Greg Mills and Mr. Emanuele Pirro, describing it as a remarkable work that explores why the successful succeed. The book provides insights into achievement, resilience, and leadership, offering lessons relevant for Zambia, Africa, and the wider world.

Speaking at the event, President Hichilema said the book goes beyond chronicling success, serving as a call to action for leaders. “It challenges leaders to focus on deliverables rather than duration. Work should not be defined by hours but by results and measurable outcomes,” he said.

He emphasized that this message is particularly important for Zambia’s reform journey, where accountability, efficiency, and tangible progress are central to national transformation.

“The Essence of Success” provides practical guidance for building effective leadership and fostering a results-driven culture, aligning with Zambia’s vision for sustainable development and national growth.

President Hichilema concluded by noting that the principles in the book can inspire both public and private sector leaders to pursue excellence, overcome challenges, and contribute to meaningful change.
