The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) reconvened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at the Italian Cultural Centre in Longacres. The meeting follows the postponement of the May AGM, which addressed only election-related agenda items.

Key discussions at today’s AGM include the presentation of the FAZ budget, submission of audited financial statements, the president’s activity report, and ratification of new committee members. The meeting also marks the official debut of FAZ president Keith Mweemba and his executive team following their recent election.

The AGM serves as a critical platform for setting the direction of Zambian football for the next 12 months. Decisions made during the meeting will guide the management and development of the game nationwide.

FIFA’s Regional Development Office Lead, David Fani, is attending the AGM, reflecting continued international support and oversight for football governance in Zambia. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 09h00.

FAZ officials and stakeholders are expected to use the session to review performance, align on priorities, and ensure transparency in the administration of football activities across the country.
