Swearing-In Ceremony at State House Ushers in New Leadership in Zambia

Yesterday, State House hosted a swearing-in ceremony for four key appointments in Zambia’s public service. Mr. Luxon Kazabu was officially sworn in as Chairperson of the Local Government Service Commission. Prof. Ephraim Munshifwa took office as Permanent Secretary for Energy. Mr. Fred Hamaamba assumed the role of Deputy Inspector General of Police for Operations, while Ms. Charity Munganga was sworn in as Deputy Inspector General of Police for Administration.

President Hakainde Hichilema welcomed the new officers and expressed full confidence in their ability to serve with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
