Zambia celebrates a historic moment as Army Commander, Lieutenant General Geoffrey Zyeele, has been inducted into the U.S. Army War College International Fellows Hall of Fame. This recognition underscores his exceptional leadership and highlights the strong partnership between the Zambian and U.S. armed forces in promoting global peace and security.

The induction ceremony also posthumously honoured the late Army Commander General Isaac Chisuzi. His commitment to service and leadership left a lasting mark on Zambia’s military, and his legacy continues to guide current and future military leaders.

These accolades reflect Zambia’s dedication to international military collaboration and the positive impact of exemplary leadership on global stability. The honours serve as a testament to the enduring relationship between Zambia and the United States in advancing peace initiatives and fostering professional military development.

President Hakainde Hichilema extended congratulations to Lieutenant General Zyeele and paid tribute to General Chisuzi, noting that such recognitions highlight the importance of service, leadership, and commitment to a safer world.

The U.S. Army War College International Fellows Hall of Fame honours foreign military officers who have distinguished themselves in positions of significant responsibility. Zambia’s representation through these inductions reinforces the country’s role in regional and international security efforts.

Lieutenant General Zyeele’s induction serves not only as a personal achievement but also as a reflection of Zambia’s growing prominence in global military collaboration.
