The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has officially launched the Invest Zambia International Conference 2025, a premier business forum aimed at showcasing Zambia’s investment potential and strengthening its role in the global economy.
The event, set to take place in July 2025, will be held under the theme: “Driving Generational Transformative Investments Through Joint Ventures and Partnerships.” The forum is expected to attract investors, policymakers, and business leaders from across the globe, making it the largest business gathering in Zambia’s history.
A Platform for Global Investment
Speaking at the launch event on Friday, ZDA Director General Albert Halwampa emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring the success of the forum. He noted that the inaugural event will become an annual international investment platform, providing businesses and investors with an opportunity to engage with Zambia’s economic landscape.
“We want to make sure we work with our partners and the private sector to make this happen,” Mr. Halwampa said. He explained that the two-day programme will serve as a knowledge hub for investment opportunities, promoting partnerships and facilitating business transactions. The conference will be structured around a ZDA secretariat, a local event management team, and other professional services to ensure its smooth execution.
