President Hakainde Hichilema has expressed gratitude to the outgoing Ambassador of the Czech Republic, His Excellency Pavel Procházka, for his successful service in Zambia. The President received Ambassador Procházka during a courtesy visit and thanked him for strengthening bilateral cooperation during his tenure.
Zambia values its long-standing friendship with the Czech Republic. This relationship is built on mutual respect and shared development goals. Under Ambassador Procházka’s leadership, the Czech Republic supported key sectors in Zambia, including food security, rural development, health, education, and water and sanitation.
President Hichilema acknowledged these contributions and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation. He identified new focus areas such as trade and investment, technology and innovation, and cultural exchange as essential for the next phase of the partnership.
Zambia remains committed to deepening its collaboration with the Czech Republic and building on the progress achieved over the past years.
The President extended his best wishes to Ambassador Procházka in his future endeavors and thanked him for his enduring role in advancing Zambia–Czech relations.
