Nchanga Rangers Football Club have officially unveiled four new players as the team intensifies preparations for the upcoming 2025/2026 MTN Super League season. The latest signings underline the club’s ambition to compete at the highest level and build a well-balanced, competitive squad.

The Chingola-based outfit announced the arrival of midfielder Benson Kolala, winger Abraham Kanyangala, forward Jacob Kaunda, and goalkeeper John Mutale. These additions follow the club’s earlier announcement of four signings made earlier in the month, bringing the total number of new recruits to eight.

Kolala joins the Rangers from Forest Rangers FC on a permanent deal, while Kanyangala arrives from Lumwana Radiants FC, also on a full transfer. Forward Jacob Kaunda, previously with Power Dynamos FC, and former Trident FC goalkeeper John Mutale, have both joined as free agents.

“These new signings are strategic and essential to strengthening our squad,” said Andrew Ukwimi, the club’s Media and Public Relations Officer. “We are building a team that can challenge and deliver consistent results throughout the season.”

The acquisitions are aimed at improving squad depth, boosting competition for places, and bringing fresh energy into the team’s lineup. With the MTN Super League becoming increasingly competitive, Nchanga Rangers are focused on solidifying key areas to improve their league standing.

Kolala is expected to add control and creativity in the midfield, while Kanyangala’s pace and directness will bring more attacking options down the flanks. Kaunda is a promising addition to the frontline, offering a physical presence and eye for goal, and Mutale provides valuable goalkeeping experience.

As the countdown to the new season continues, the club is also set to announce its full pre-season schedule in the coming days, with friendly matches lined up to help integrate the new players and fine-tune the squad’s chemistry.

Nchanga Rangers’ transfer activity reflects a clear commitment to progress and performance in the 2025/2026 campaign, as fans eagerly anticipate a strong showing from the team when the season kicks off.
