As part of its commitment to financial education and inclusion, Access Bank Zambia Limited, in partnership with MyAkili, recently hosted pupils from Jacaranda Secondary School at its Head Office in Lusaka. This initiative took place on March 18, 2025, in alignment with the ongoing Financial Literacy Week, themed ‘Think Before You Follow, Safeguard Your Money.’

The event provided an interactive learning experience, equipping students with essential financial knowledge and insights into banking operations. Through a guided tour of Access House branch, the pupils had the unique opportunity to observe various banking processes in action, gaining firsthand exposure to the intricacies of financial transactions, savings, and money management.

Financial Literacy Week serves as a crucial platform to educate young people about responsible financial habits, the importance of making informed financial decisions, and safeguarding their money in an increasingly digital world. By engaging with industry experts and witnessing practical applications of financial principles, students from Jacaranda Secondary School left the event with a stronger foundation in financial literacy.

Access Bank Zambia has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering financial literacy, particularly among young individuals, as part of its broader mission to drive financial inclusion. By actively engaging with the youth, the bank continues to play a pivotal role in equipping future generations with the skills needed to navigate the evolving financial landscape confidently.

Through such initiatives, Access Bank Zambia remains committed to building a financially empowered society, ensuring that young people are well-prepared to make sound financial decisions that secure their future.
