Turkey based Zambia Women National Team players Lushomo Mweemba and Martha Tembo have joined camp ahead of the FIFA Window Malawi 3 Nations Tournament. The two defenders, who play for Hakkariguccu in Turkey, are part of Coach Nora Häuptle’s 26 member squad set to face Malawi and Zimbabwe in Lilongwe.

Their arrival increases the number of foreign based players in camp to four. Irene Lungu and Susan Banda reported earlier and have already settled into preparations. United States based forward Rachael Kundananji is expected to arrive later today.

The Malawi 3 Nations Tournament will run from November 28 to December 2 in Lilongwe. The competition offers Zambia valuable match practice as the team continues to build depth and sharpen combinations for future international assignments.

The presence of key foreign based players strengthens squad balance and gives the technical bench more tactical options. The tournament also provides a platform for local players to compete for places and gain experience against regional rivals.
