The Munali Suns have written their name in regional basketball history after being crowned champions of the 2025 Brave Hearts International Basketball Challenge (BIBC). The Zambian side defeated hosts Bravehearts men 65-56 in a tense final at the ABC Blue Gym in Lilongwe on Saturday.

The Suns displayed resilience and tactical discipline throughout the game, managing to keep their composure against the energetic home side. The victory followed a tough semifinal clash where they edged fellow Zambian giants Matero Warriors 63-59 in an all-Zambian battle.
