Kansanshi Dynamos Sign Malawian Forward Francisco Madinga on Two-Year Deal

Kansanshi Dynamos have finalized the signing of Malawian forward Francisco Madinga on a two-year contract, adding firepower to the Mabanga Boys ahead of the 2025/26 MTN Super League season.

Madinga, 25, is versatile, able to play on both wings and as a supporting striker. He joins Kansanshi Dynamos as a free agent, bringing experience from multiple leagues across Africa and Europe.

The forward most recently played for Malawian top-flight side Mighty Wanderers. He also featured for Georgian club FC Dila Gori between 2020 and 2022, making over 50 appearances and scoring five goals. Madinga had a spell with Botswana champions Jwaneng Galaxy before returning to Wanderers in 2023.

Capped at senior level by Malawi, Madinga was part of the Flames squad in continental competitions, bringing international experience that is expected to strengthen Kansanshi Dynamos’ attacking options.

The club’s management expressed confidence that Madinga’s versatility, work rate, and technical ability will provide tactical flexibility for the upcoming league season. Fans anticipate that his addition will help Kansanshi Dynamos compete at the top of the MTN Super League and make an impact in domestic cup competitions.
