Yesterday President Hakainde Hichilema joined members of the United Church of Zambia, Kwacha East Congregation in Kitwe during a working visit.
In his address, President Hichilema highlighted the importance of unity as the foundation for social and economic development. He emphasized that, despite differences, all Zambians are children of God and can achieve progress through collaboration.
He reminded public officials of their responsibility to serve all citizens impartially. He also encouraged citizens to take advantage of the free education policy, describing education as a vital tool for equality and improving lives.
President Hichilema expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended by the Kwacha East Congregation and the people of Kitwe. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering results and building a stronger, more prosperous Zambia.
The visit underscored the government’s focus on community engagement, education, and inclusive development, reinforcing the message that national progress depends on unity, service, and empowerment of every citizen.
