Today, the Republic of Zambia had the distinct honor of receiving credentials from esteemed new envoys, marking another milestone in the nation’s diplomatic engagements.
His Excellency Mr. Alok Ranjan Jha, High Commissioner of India to Zambia; His Excellency Gen. Ihar Marshalau, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Zambia; His Excellency Mr. Shah Ahmed Shafi, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Republic of Zambia; and Her Excellency Ms. Emily Burns, High Commissioner of Canada to Zambia, officially presented their credentials at State House.
Zambia highly values its bilateral and multilateral relations with these nations and looks forward to deepening collaboration across diverse sectors of mutual interest. These diplomatic engagements are in line with Zambia’s foreign policy, which is anchored on peace, security, and stability, as well as economic diplomacy.
President Hakainde Hichilema reaffirmed the country’s commitment to working closely with the newly accredited envoys to strengthen the bonds between Zambia and their respective nations.
