Trade Kings Group has made history as Zambia’s first manufacturing company to exhibit independently at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Gulfood 2025, the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade event.
Gulfood 2025 marks its 30th edition under the theme “The Next Frontier in Food.” The event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, hosts over 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries and spans 1.3 million square feet, serving as a critical platform for global food commerce. It attracts multinational corporations, industry disruptors, and policymakers seeking to shape the future of the food and beverage sector.
According to a statement issued by Trade Kings Group Public Relations Manager Bridget Kambobe on Thursday, the milestone underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and showcasing Zambia’s rich manufacturing capabilities on an international stage.
“Participating independently at Gulfood 2025 demonstrates our ambition to position Trade Kings as a key player in the global food and beverage industry. It is an opportunity to network with international partners, gain insights into emerging trends, and showcase our diverse range of quality products,” Kambobe stated.
Trade Kings’ presence at the prestigious event highlights Zambia’s growing industrial strength and reinforces the country’s ability to compete on a global scale. The company will use the platform to market its extensive product portfolio, including confectionery, beverages, dairy products, and detergents, to an international audience.
Industry experts believe that Trade Kings’ participation at Gulfood 2025 will help attract foreign investment, open new export markets, and promote Zambia’s industrial sector on a larger stage. The company’s involvement aligns with the broader national agenda of economic diversification and increasing non-traditional exports.
As Trade Kings makes strides in global trade, its participation at Gulfood 2025 is set to enhance Zambia’s visibility in the international food and beverage market, strengthening its reputation as an emerging manufacturing hub in Africa.
