U.S. President Joe Biden concluded his diplomatic tour of Africa on Wednesday by highlighting the Lobito Corridor, a transformative railway project designed to boost regional connectivity and economic growth. Backed by a $550 million U.S. loan, the project aims to connect Angola’s Lobito Port to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Zambia, with plans for a second phase extending into Tanzania.
