  1. Tembo was born in Kabwe, Zambia.
  2. She was inspired by her father, who played African bongo.
  3. Lily was raised in a music-loving family.
  4. Her Father, sisters and mother was also musician who used to sing in church.
  5. Tembo attended secondary school at the Kabulonga Girls School in Zambia’s capital, Lusaka. Later on, she pursued a career in journalism at Evelyn Hone College.
