SlapDee was born in Zambia and his real name is Mwila Musonda
He used to battle with his school mate, that’s where his music career started
Asembe Isebenza’ was his first song and he was identified by the promoter Sync as a rising star
His first Album Asembe Isebenza was a disappointment commercially but it earned excellent radio exposure, generating recognition on the Hip-Hop underground scene
Slap is also a record producer and Chairman of XYZ entertainment one of the biggest record labels in Zambia
Besides music, he is a brand ambassador for Budweiser, Family planning, Africabet
He performed at many of the same events as Nigerian singer Wizkid
Slap is also a business man with clothing label, and Night club-restaurant
December 2015 he was involved in a King of Zambian hip-hop battle because of a Beef with Macky2 a Zambian artist
He never gave up with music and in the last 10 years he remains at the top of the mountain
