- Robert Banda aka Roberto kick started his musical career in 1996
- He has been known in the entertainment industry as Roberto and is probably one of Zambia’s Finest Export
- Roberto was born in a musical family. Growing up he got inspiration from his parents and his elder brother, General Ozzy, a singer, songwriter and producer
- Roberto is a striking force in Zambian entertainment as an Artist
- He is also Drive Time radio presenter on Zambia’s Radio Q FM, Producer, Script Writer, Qualified Computer Programmer and CEO of brotherhood Music where is produces beats for himself and others. Roberto possesses lyrical gentleness which comes through in his singing and performances
- His biggest performance was in Namibia after the album was launched where he shared the same stage with American Grammy Award Winner, Rapper, Songwriter, Record Producer, Actress and Ruff Ryder’s First lady Eve at the Doc Jubber Hockey Field Stadium in Windhoek
- 2008 he released his sophomore album titled “Akasuba”, the album had shown new light to the Zambian R&B music scene with songs like Don’t Say You Do, These Words, Nikutasha, Save our Love, Bengi and 2009 award-winning song of the year Akasuba titled after the album
- In 2010 Roberto entered into a collaboration with Ugandan artist Toniks and together they formed a group called UZ47
- Roberto currently has his third (3rd) studio album called ‘My Name Is…’ which was released on 3rd September 2012
- Roberto has toured and performed in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Europe. His Amarula hit of the 1712 Album was amongst the African hits in the year 2015
