  1. Billy Mwanza was born on January 21, 1983 in Chililabombwe, Zambia) is a Zambianfootballer.
  2. He currently plays as a defender.
  3. Mwanza was part of the Zambian 2006 African Nations Cup team, which finished third in group C in the first round of competition, thus failing to secure qualification for the quarter-finals.
  4. He has been instrumental in his current team’s performance in the CSL.
  5. Mwanza was one of the players expected by fans to be part of the Zambian team at the CAN 2010.
  6. Mwanza has been at Nkana since 2013 when he joined the team from Napsa Stars
  7. He won the Faz Super League title with Nkana that same year and was a key player in their debut appearance, in the team’s debut qualification to the group stage of the 2014 Caf Confederation Cup.
  8. Mwanza was also a member of the Zambia Under-23 team that finished fourth at the 2003 All Africa Games football tournament in Nigeria, together with Christopher Katongo and goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene.
  9. Billy played as a full back.
  10. He has 2 daughters.
